A close partnership with a local manufacturer allows me to offer custom bar stools. Custom heights, finishes, cushions, leg styles and models combine to make over 10,000 variations!

The first decision to make is which type of stool you'd like. They basically fall into these major categories: Mission, Square, Counter, Highback, Highback with Arms, Lowback and Benches. There are different size, finish and wood options depending on the style chosen.

Once you've selected your style, next up is selecting your stool height.

Now we've got the style and height nailed down, so we need to cover the type of wood and stain.

I offer three types of wood for these stools - Oak, Maple and Cherry. Oak is available on the whole line of stools. Maple and Cherry stools are available for most styles, including Counter, Highback, and Square.

Once you've chose the type of wood, it's time to choose the finish. All stools are available unfinished. Oak stools have a choice of eleven finishes, while Maple and Cherry each offer three. Click here to view all finish colors.

There are several other options available for altering the appearance of your stool.

Most of these custom stools offer a choice of leg style - Straight or Turned. Leg style also determines the style of the cross member stretchers on the stool base.

Turned legs have a pattern cut into them on a lathe that creates a unique look. The pattern will also be on the cross members.

Straight legs are smooth throughout and have no pattern.

All that's left to cover is the seat.

As you may have guessed, there are several choices for seats. Counter stools have a selection of wooden seat or cushion choices. Highback and Lowback stools can have a cushion added. Mission, Square and Benches include cushions. See below for cushion covering choices.

Counter stools can have several wooden seat options: fixed flat seat, swivel flat seat, and swivel dished (scalloped) seat. Counter stools can also have vinyl or fabric cushion seats. You can find all cushion covering choices at the bottom of this page. If you'd like to use your own material, that can also be arranged, for $15 per stool.
